Glass skin is HYDRATED skin, so make sure you are always applying sunscreen and hyaluronic acid to your skin daily.
Sunscreen is so important in preventing age spots, premature wrinkles and dull texture.
6. How Sleep & Stress Affect your Skin
Your sleep quality effects how your skin looks. You should be getting 8-10 hours a night to avoid dull texture and dark under eyes. Poor sleep effects more than just your skin; it effects your mood, energy and metabolism etc.
Stress management is important too, so make sure to find good outlets to relax and unwind.
7. How to Apply Makeup for a Natural Glass Skin Finish

Skin-Prep for Glass Skin Routine
Prepping your skin before makeup application is a MUST! Use a gentle exfoliator 2-3x per week to remove old dead skin cells from the surface of the skin.
Always start by washing your face in the morning, applying a THIN layer of a hydrating serum (Vitamin C, Hyaluronic Acid serum). Let it absorb into the skin and then apply a THIN layer of a hydrating sunscreen that isn’t too thick all over the face, under eyes, and neck.
Makeup Application for Glass Skin Routine
When applying your makeup use a small beauty blender (the one that is normally used for concealer) or a dense foundation brush. Keep your foundation LIGHT not thick. Glass skin allows for your natural skin to peak through the makeup, making it look more natural.
TIP: ALLOW your skin to be glowy! Use a hydrating concealer all over instead of a heavy full face foundation.
TIP: Apply a blush or bronzer to give you a beautiful sun-kissed glow.
8. At-Home Treatments for Glass Skin (that actually work!)
- At-Home Microneedling
- Hyaluronic Acid Face Masks
- Gua Sha your face every morning and keep it in the freezer
- Under eye caffeine patches
- Red light therapy masks
